• As a Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping a highly automated production site running efficiently. Working within a close‑knit engineering team, you will support both proactive and reactive maintenance across a modern food manufacturing facility.
• You will carry out planned maintenance to minimise downtime, respond quickly to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• The role will see you working on a wide range of automated machinery including conveyors, sorters, and robotics, ensuring production targets are consistently met.
• You will also be involved in equipment upgrades, maintaining engineering stores, and accurately documenting all work completed to support effective shift handovers.

• Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong fault‑finding ability across electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Good understanding of PLC fault finding via HMI, and working with inverters
• Mechanical capability including bearings, pneumatics and general maintenance
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Full UK driving licence due to shift patterns
