Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Perth

£46,500 to £50,500 + overtime + bonus

What You'll Do:

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping a highly automated production site running efficiently. Working within a close-knit engineering team, you will support both proactive and reactive maintenance across a modern food manufacturing facility.

You will carry out planned maintenance to minimise downtime, respond quickly to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. The role will see you working on a wide range of automated machinery including conveyors, sorters, and robotics, ensuring production targets are consistently met.

You will also be involved in equipment upgrades, maintaining engineering stores, and accurately documenting all work completed to support effective shift handovers.

What You'll Bring:

  • Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong fault-finding ability across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Good understanding of PLC fault finding via HMI, and working with inverters
  • Mechanical capability including bearings, pneumatics and general maintenance
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Full UK driving licence due to shift patterns
