Activities Assistant - Care Home

Role Overview

As an Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to ensure residents can enjoy an environment that is motivational and fulfilling. You will help every resident live as independently as possible and enhance their involvement with family, friends and the local community.

• Deliver an entertainment and activities programme covering a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings and events.
• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities, promoting independence and community involvement.
• Support residents in pursuing interests they enjoy and enable them to maintain social links.

• No specific experience required; suitable for candidates from any background.
• A sense of fun, creativity, and the ability to encourage and motivate others.
