“Do you know what threats are coming before they happen?”

Coba IT are hiring on behalf of a client for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist to play a key role in strengthening cyber resilience across a complex, enterprise-scale environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on analysing emerging threats, influencing security strategy, and turning intelligence into meaningful action.

The Role

As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist, you’ll be responsible for identifying, analysing, and communicating cyber threats across IT, OT, and cloud environments.

You’ll work closely with security, IT, and leadership teams—transforming complex intelligence into clear, actionable insights that shape both tactical response and long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality cyber threat intelligence on emerging risks and vulnerabilities
  • Support incident response through threat enrichment, analysis, and reporting
  • Assess vulnerabilities, advising on exploitability, impact, and prioritisation
  • Develop threat actor profiles, campaigns, and TTP assessments
  • Translate technical intelligence into clear guidance for varied audiences
  • Collaborate with security teams to inform roadmaps, controls, and strategy
  • Enhance CTI capability through tooling, automation, and improved processes
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in cyber threat intelligence within a security or enterprise environment
  • Hands-on use of CTI and OSINT tools
  • Strong understanding of threat actors, attack methods, and frameworks (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management and risk prioritisation
  • Experience supporting or contributing to incident response
  • Ability to produce concise, high-impact intelligence reporting
  • Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
What’s on Offer
  • Flexible location options (including Northampton and other UK hubs)
  • Strong benefits package including bonus, private healthcare, and pension contribution
  • Opportunity to work within a forward-thinking, purpose-driven organisation
  • Involvement in shaping cyber strategy in a critical infrastructure environment

If you enjoy staying one step ahead of cyber threats and want to play a role where your insights genuinely influence decision-making—this is a fantastic opportunity.
