Description:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Reinsurance Claims Operations team at Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS). This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team’s arrangement.
Operations Specialist - Claims (Reinsurance)We are seeking a talented, detail-focused individual to join our Reinsurance Claims Operations team. The role involves end-to-end handling of reinsurance claims across major lines, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant claim adjudication and settlement. You will work closely with internal teams, cedants and market stakeholders to facilitate fair outcomes and continuous process improvements.
We will count on you to:- Minimum 3 years’ experience handling reinsurance claims in a market/cedant/insurer environment, with demonstrable reinsurance claims exposure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multicultural teams.
- Process-driven, with robust compliance awareness and excellent documentation discipline.
- Proven negotiation and dispute-resolution experience in claims contexts.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfortable using claims systems and analytical tools.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues, and to lead small projects or process-improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to complex reinsurance claims across multiple lines.
