You will have the knowledge, skills and experience in the repair & maintenance of heavy goods vehicles, and will be responsible for ensuring that the Council’s fleet of vehicles is maintained to both DVSA and Perth & Kinross Council standards.

You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.

The workshop operates a shift system consisting of early and back shifts, Monday to Friday on a rotational basis, therefore it will be necessary for the successful candidate to participate in these working patterns.

You will be part of a hardworking, supportive team who have a good sense of humour, and we offer a positive working environment.

We can offer you a range of employee benefits including the Local Government Pension Scheme, generous holiday allowance and health & wellbeing initiatives. We also offer training and development opportunities, invest in our staff, and value their contribution.
