General Operative

Remuneration: £12.80 per hour

Temporary (potential permanent)

Work schedule:

Monday - Friday, day shifts, early finish on Fridays. Overtime available at time and a half.

• Painting & Facility Upkeep – painting floors, line markings, touch‑ups; light painting on walls and railings; preparing surfaces for painting (sweeping, cleaning, basic sanding). Previous painting experience a plus but training provided.
• General Housekeeping – keeping shop floor immaculate; operating floor‑cleaning machinery (training provided); emptying bins, managing waste disposal; maintaining tidy walkways and communal spaces.
• Basic Maintenance & Odd Jobs – assisting with minor repairs and upkeep; supporting ad‑hoc tasks; reporting maintenance issues promptly; using hand tools as needed (e.g., screwdrivers, brushes).

• Physical fitness – role is active, involves manual tasks.
• Experience – previous experience in painting, maintenance or similar roles desired but not essential.
• Attitude – proactive, can‑do mindset, strong attention to detail.
• Reliability – pride in delivering quality work consistently.

• Long‑term role with potential for permanent employment.
• Day shifts only – no nights required.
• Early finish every Friday.
• Full training and support.
