Monday to Friday, rotating shifts Early
Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Late
Shift: 1:30pm - 10:00pm Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour 20% shift allowance The Opportunity Manpower Scotland is currently recruiting Manufacturing Operators for a leading manufacturing facility in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment where quality, teamwork, and attention to detail are key. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play an important role in supporting production targets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring products are manufactured and packaged in line with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing processes. Complete production documentation accurately and in line with quality requirements. Set up and operate production equipment and conveyor systems. Read and interpret work orders to prepare materials and components for production. Carry out quality checks on materials, products, and packaging throughout the manufacturing process. Fill, label, seal, sort, and package finished products.
Monitor product weights and quantities, making adjustments where required. Support equipment validation activities and production line changeovers. Perform line clearance activities, including material reconciliation and disposal. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and workplace organisation. Follow all health, safety, quality, GMP, and ISO procedures at all times. What We're Looking For Essential Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, laboratory, or similar environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Flexible approach to changing priorities and production schedules.
Desirable Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing systems and production documentation processes.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the shift. Comfortable with bending, reaching, lifting, and manual handling tasks. Ability to lift up to 50lbs (approximately 23kg) on occasion. Ability to use hand tools and production equipment safely. Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow site safety requirements. What's in It for You? Competitive hourly rate with shift allowance.
