We're looking for a Production Operative (Float Operator) to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in Perth. You'll be part of a supportive team that works together to keep operations running smoothly, with a role that gives you exposure to multiple areas of production and the chance to build a wide range of skills.

The RoleAs a Float Operator, you will support multiple areas of production, helping maintain efficiency and high-quality output.

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out bonding, cutting and grinding processes
  • Operating test beds and heating lamps
  • Supporting different production areas as required
  • Assisting with machine operation and basic set-up
  • Following standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Performing quality checks on materials and finished products
  • Recording production data accurately
  • Identifying and reporting faults or inconsistencies
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
  • Working to targets within a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience working with machinery or technical processes (desirable)
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks
