Shift - Night shift 4 on/ 4off Pay Rate - £15.48 per hour Hygiene Line Coordinator

At Heathrow, our team of around 400 produces gluten‑free sandwiches, wraps, salads and ready meals for major UK retailers.

What you'll be doing
  • Monitor and review the activities of hygiene operatives to ensure all sanitation processes are completed in full and hygiene standards are maintained during the production shift.
  • Direct and monitor the team’s day‑to‑day hygiene activities in line with the master schedule to ensure operational integrity.
  • Ensure personal and team compliance with inventory controls for timely material replacement.
  • Provide appropriate information to customers and regulatory bodies to demonstrate process and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe working environment that meets SHE Policy standards.
  • Review equipment and highlight damage to inform the preventative maintenance programme.
  • Communicate and validate the team’s adoption of amendments to SOPs to ensure change is implemented and safety practices are improved.
  • Support the Hygiene Manager and Supervisor as accountable.
What we’re looking for
  • Hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment or similar.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Knowledge of chemical handling according to local site requirements.
  • Computer literacy in Word and Excel.
  • Detailed understanding of legislation impact on day‑to‑day food safety operations.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork ability.
  • Basic awareness of health and safety and food hygiene.
