Orkney Zero Waste are seeking individuals over 18 who are passionate about recycling and repurposing waste.
Join us for 1-2 hour slots on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 11 AM to 3 PM. Connect with your community and learn best practices for recycling, reuse, and composting.
What could a volunteer gain from the experience:
- Contributing to an environmental charity.
- Learning about reuse, recycling and composting.
- Meeting members of the community and other volunteers.
- Caring about the environment, reuse and recycling.
- Kind and helpful.
- Willing to be hands on at the yard.
- No previous experience necessary.
A tour of the yard. Shadowing and working with other volunteers and board members to build up awareness, knowledge, hands on experience and confidence.
Frequency & commitmentNo minimum commitment.
