We are currently seeking a dedicated and aspiring horticultural practitioner, driven by a passion for gardens rather than years of experience, to join our Gardens and Estates team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £31,059 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £26,059, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.

Location;
Auchterarder, just off the A9. Gleneagles is also within easy reach of a number of Scottish towns and cities:
Edinburgh City Centre (1hr), Glasgow or Dundee (50mins), Stirling and Perth (25mins).

• You’ll play a key role in the implementation of our garden maintenance programmes, carefully planned with meticulous detail, to ensure that our standards of presentation are maintained consistently and to the highest standards
• Assisting in the maintenance of our beautiful planted displays, including borders, pots and containers
• Working across our 850 estate, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced gardeners in the business
• Health & Safety is of paramount importance; you’ll ensure at all times that you proactively maintain a clear, tidy and hazard free work area
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

• Ideally, you have some horticultural experience; however, above all, you have a genuine interest in growing and maintaining plants and seasonal displays, and you love working outdoors in all weathers
• You take pride in your work and have a keen eye for detail, presentation and plant health, and you understand the importance of high standards within a luxury estate environment
• Hands‑on, proactive and willing to learn, with a positive and can‑do attitude, you work well as part of a team but are equally capable of managing tasks independently
• You value sustainability, biodiversity and thoughtful landscape stewardship
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
• You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
