The team is proud to provide a 24-hour emergency service, ensuring continuity of care and allowing vets to manage cases from start to finish.
This is a part time role and once time off in lieu is taken into account, the average daytime working week is approximately 29 hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to small animals
- Collaborate with a team of experienced vets and RVNs
- Manage occasional sole charge responsibilities
- Participate in a 1:5 out-of-hours rota
- Engage in continuous professional development
- Experienced small animal vet
- Confidence in occasional sole charge
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for delivering excellent patient care
- Interest in developing or pursuing a clinical specialty
The practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including six consulting rooms, a dedicated imaging suite, dental suite with digital radiography, two operating theatres, and advanced equipment such as Karl Storz laparoscopic tools and flexible endoscopy. The in-house laboratory is comprehensive, and the team includes specialists like an ACPAT Physiotherapist, pain consultant, behaviourist, and veterinary acupuncturist, promoting a holistic approach to patient care.
