This is an exciting opportunity for two talented Sous Chefs to join a luxury Aberdeenshire property set within hundreds acres of beautiful estate land. The venue has previously held multiple AA Rosettes and is now entering an exciting new chapter, with a recently appointed Head Chef and a clear ambition to elevate the food and beverage offering across the estate.
The property is part of a wider luxury Hospitality group with a strong reputation for exceptional food, wine and service. The goal is to bring that same level of quality, refinement and recognition to this Scottish estate, creating a destination known for outstanding dining, events and hospitality.
There are two Sous Chef opportunities available, one focused on the restaurant and one focused on banqueting. Both roles will play an important part in supporting the Head Chef, developing the brigade and maintaining the high standards expected across a luxury operation.
These roles provide relocation support.
Please note that this role does not provide Sponsorship; to apply you need a full British Passport or the right to work in the UK.
Restaurant Sous Chef RoleThe restaurant currently serves around 45 covers, with a large terrace area and outdoor domes that can seat around 80 covers. There is also a cave bar as part of the wider food and beverage operation.
The current offering is a seasonal à la carte menu, changing around every six weeks, with plans to introduce a tasting menu as the restaurant continues to develop. This role would suit a Sous Chef with strong restaurant experience who enjoys refined cooking, seasonal menus and the opportunity to help shape a growing food direction.
Banqueting Sous Chef RoleThe banqueting operation is busy and varied, covering weddings, charity events, barbecues, outdoor terrace events and larger functions of up to around 200 guests. The banqueting team is made up of a smaller focused brigade, with around three to four chefs, and during quieter periods the banqueting team supports the restaurant kitchen.
This role would suit a Sous Chef who enjoys the energy of events, can manage volume without compromising quality and takes pride in delivering polished food for weddings, private events and large scale hospitality.
