You will work with a fantastic team with a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. We will help you to develop your skills and passions whilst offering boundless warmth and hospitality. Bringing your own ideas and creativity to the Kitchen Assistant role, you will assist us to guide the guest experience beyond expectation.
Your Role:
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team in delivering exceptional food standards by maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Youll play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently and adheres to all hygiene and safety requirements.
Joining the kitchen brigade, you will:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas
Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks
Ensure kitchen floors and work spaces are clean, safe, and hazard-free
Handle waste and recycling in line with health and safety guidelines
Support the checking and storage of deliveries to ensure quality and freshness
Assist with basic food preparation for the hotel menu and events
Carry out temperature checks on refrigeration equipment and report any issues
Ensure all food items are stored correctly and maintained in prime condition
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
