Retail Sales Assistant

We are currently seeking a warm, vibrant and confident Retail Sales Assistant to join our Retail team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £15.27 / per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £12.77, plus a qualified estimate of £2.50 per hour in gratuities and service charge.

You’ll be working between the hours of 9am and 6pm, with a variety of part-time opportunities available across our various boutiques.

• Sharing your product knowledge and enthusiasm with our guests, helping them discover the perfect gift, keepsake or something special to take home from their time at Gleneagles
• Creating a welcoming and personalised shopping experience, taking the time to understand what our guests are looking for and making thoughtful recommendations to suit their needs
• Bringing your creative flair to our visual merchandising, keeping our windows, displays and boutique looking beautiful, inviting and in keeping with the Gleneagles experience
• Keeping our boutique looking its best throughout the day, ensuring products are well presented, shelves are replenished and the space is always ready to welcome our guests
• Processing sales, payments, returns and exchanges accurately, using our POS and back-office systems with confidence
• Keeping an eye on our bestsellers and stock levels, helping us stay ahead of demand and letting the Retail Manager know when it’s time to replenish our favourites
• Supporting stock deliveries, checking items and helping to keep our stockroom organised, so everything is where it needs to be
• Taking pride in the finer details, from maintaining accurate stock records to making sure every purchase is presented with care
• Working closely with the wider Retail team to keep things running smoothly, sharing knowledge, offering support and helping one another deliver a brilliant experience
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
