We are currently seeking an experienced Security Concierge with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and adept in security or related fields, to join our Security Team.

Luxury hospitality security is not simply about guarding a property, it is a dynamic, proactive, service driven role responsible for protecting people, assets, and reputation while enhancing the guest experience through vigilance, discretion, and professionalism.

The on target earning potential for this role is £34,426 / per annum based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £29,426, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
  • Supporting our Head of Security in expertly ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, guests and people
  • Professionally handling all Fire, Fleet, Security, and day-to-day contractor management, monitoring surveillance systems, enforcing security protocols, proactively conducting visible patrols around the hotel and across our estate
  • Responding to emergencies or incidents swiftly and professionally, liaising with our Management and Executive teams and emergency services
  • Conducting investigations across our estate, including planning investigative interviews, and compiling factually accurate and detailed incident reports to support internal and external investigations
  • Ensuring the safe operations of all vehicles and helicopters on site, specifically our service yard and helicopter landing sites
  • Assisting with the implementation of our Authorised Driver, vehicle maintenance and insurance processes and procedures
  • Building strong working relationships with your colleagues across the estate, and externally with service providers and our local community including the emergency services, always positively representing and protecting Gleneagles’ reputation
  • Securing compliance with all relevant legislation including General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), and the consistent and accurate record keeping of all relevant documentation and data in line with Security and Hotel policies
  • Assisting in the management and maintenance of the estate safety and security systems, including, Access Control, Alarms Fire and Intruder and CCTV.
  • Undertaking bi-monthly Fire Management compliance audits in your area of responsibility ensuring a high level of detail and accurate record keeping; assisting with the administration and delivery of training within security and fire management
  • Working collaboratively with our People Team to create and manage onboarding and offboarding security administration and access
  • Playing a key role in the development, implementation and maintenance of our security processes and administration including our Standing Operating Procedures, Lost & Found Property process, Incident Management Plans, Crisis Management Plans ensuring delivery of excellence in security
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person we're looking for:
  • Diligent and systematic in your approach, you have fantastic, relevant experience with outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills
  • You hold a full driving licence (that is compliant with UK legislation and does not have more than 6 penalty points)
  • Adept in IT, you also have experience in producing factual written reports used for internal and external presentations, processes and investigations
  • Ideally, you already hold a valid First Aid certificate or are eager to complete the required certification with our support
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking and attention to detail are all second nature to you and you’re used to juggling a range of sometimes conflicting priorities
