Young People Transitioning to Adult services

We are looking for individuals who have a passion to support young people through their transition into adulthood. This could include college support, being in their first tenancy, enhancing life skills and supporting group activities. You will provide social, emotional and practical support to meet young people’s agreed outcomes.
Please note that we have vacancies in both Perth & Blairgowrie.
Responsibilities- Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
- Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
- Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Arks Information Management system.
As a Relief Support Practitioner, you do not have contracted hours. This provides flexibility, allowing you to pick up shifts that suit your availability.
Please note:
Relief work is offered on an as and when basis to cover sickness absence, study leave, and other staffing needs. We cannot guarantee regular or ongoing work, as the demand for relief staffing may vary over time.
- Statutory annual leave paid monthly based on the hours you work
- Fully funded PVG & 1st year SSSC registration paid by Ark
We offer a good level of flexibility around shift patterns with varying hours. Driving is not essential. Students are welcome to apply, with flexibility around university/college placements.
Previous experience of the following is an advantage but not essential as Ark will provide full training:
Care Worker, Social worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Social Care Worker.
