Location: Perth
Contract: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Additional Requirements: Night shift, Overtime & Standby Rota

BEAR Scotland is a leading provider of road maintenance and management services, responsible for maintaining Scotland’s vital trunk road network across the North West of the country.

We are seeking experienced, safety-conscious Road workers to join our established team based at our Perth depot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out general carriageway maintenance and repair works
  • Install and manage traffic management systems, including signs, cones and barriers
  • Lay, patch and remove road materials
  • Undertake drainage, vegetation control and road furniture works
  • Operate small plant, tools and company vehicles
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in winter maintenance operations
  • Work safely at all times to protect colleagues, road users and the public
What We’re Looking For
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Experience in roadworks, highways maintenance or construction
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Standby Requirement

Applicants must be able to reach the Perth depot within 30 minutes when on standby (essential).
