Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance management team at Avanto, a leading furniture dealership. The Staff Accountant will assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational analysis to support the company’s financial health and decision‑making. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Process and reconcile customer payments, invoices, deposits, and credit memos.
- Manage vendor bills, payment tracking, and statement reconciliations.
- Perform daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Record journal entries and support month‑end close activities.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and documentation.
- Prepare recurring financial reports on cash, expenses, and receivables.
- Support collections and ensure timely follow‑ups on outstanding balances.
- Assist with inventory accounting and cross‑team financial coordination.
- Multitasking and Organization: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Detail‑Oriented: Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all financial processes.
- Proactivity: Take initiative and solve problems independently.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in retail or dealership environments.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- 100% Remote.
- Monday to Friday – Weekends Off.
