Our client, a global leader in the premium spirits industry, is in the search for an experienced Area Manager to lead and accelerate commercial growth across Peru and Argentina. This is a senior commercial role responsible for driving market performance, developing route‑to‑market strategies, and enhancing brand execution across both markets.
The Area Manager will represent the company in‑market, partnering with distributor leadership teams and internal cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver commercial results, strengthen brand presence, and ensure excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the commercial and trade execution strategy for Peru and Argentina
- Deliver volume, profit, and market share objectives aligned to long‑term business plans
- Manage and influence distributor partners across commercial, marketing, finance, and key account functions
- Develop and execute Route‑to‑Market and Route‑to‑Consumer strategies for premium brands
- Partner with regional Marketing to implement impactful consumer and trade programs
- Oversee pricing, forecasting, investment management, and P'L delivery
- Strengthen in‑market execution standards and brand presence across channels
- Represent the company with regulatory entities, industry associations, and key market stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with corporate, legal, and brand governance standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Business or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG, ideally within premium beverages or spirits
- Proven experience leading distributors and influencing cross‑functional partners
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel across assigned markets
A Master’s degree (MBA) and experience in the alcohol beverage category will be considered a strong advantage.
