QA Engineer (SDET) – Perform

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java development for test automation and database validation to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software products.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and TestNG.
• Create, execute, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and defect investigation.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Independently analyze, debug, and resolve issues across the application and database layers with minimal guidance.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality.
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and provide detailed bug reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and frameworks.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, and TestNG for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL with the ability to read, write, and troubleshoot complex queries.
• Proven ability to analyze, debug, and solve problems independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Exposure to Databricks or other big data platforms.
