A Day In The Life

As a Paid Media Supervisor, you’ll own the performance, strategy, and growth of major multi‑channel paid media accounts. Working closely with the Associate Media Director for high‑level planning and direction, you’ll lead all day‑to‑day execution, optimization, and reporting. You’ll be the subject‑matter expert in both internal and client meetings, driving strategy, presenting recommendations with confidence, and defending the work with data.

You’ll guide an internal team to deliver smart, integrated paid media strategies across channels, ensuring our clients see real, sustained growth. This is a client‑facing role, and your ability to lead conversations, shape direction, and influence outcomes is at the center of your impact.

Responsibilities
  • Successful end‑to‑end management & strategic oversight of designated paid media accounts.
  • Meet pacing & KPI requirements for held accounts, working to move the goal posts & set improved performance expectations.
  • Own all paid media strategy, project ideation, road‑mapping & testing, leading the team with confidence & direction.
  • Manage a small team of 1‑2+ Media Managers, delegating tasks & developing their strategic & technical skillsets.
  • Work with Account Managers & the Media Director to identify client goals, priorities & efficiency requirements, ultimately improving Paid Media’s contribution to business success.
  • Actively work to increase billing & channel support for existing media accounts & propose opportunities to expand media coverage for new accounts.
  • Continually learn new strategies, test new platforms & expand Cardinal’s paid media offerings.
  • Function as the primary point of contact both internally & externally for all ‘owned’ accounts responsible for pacing & performance of accounts.
  • Generate reporting, write insights & communicate with the client for designated accounts.
  • Maintain held accounts, including optimizations, structural updates, bidding methodologies, conversion types and copy revisions.
  • Fully own Paid Media strategy for assigned accounts, working with the Media Director as needed.
  • Strategically ideate on all accounts, designing & adjusting campaign strategies to meet each client’s business goals (and internal objectives).
  • Design & deploy tests in accounts on a monthly & quarterly cadence (structural, targeting, creative & messaging, conversion, etc).
  • Continuously test, verify & improve full‑funnel structures.
Role Requirements
  • 6‑10+ years of Paid Media experience.
  • Experience managing multiple paid media accounts with budgets ranging between $100K‑$1MM per month.
  • Experience driving paid media strategy, project road maps, media plans, competitive research, testing and measurement frameworks for clients across multiple media channels.
