At Sapp Bros., Inc., we believe our people are our greatest strength. We’re looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our Petroleum team and help us grow in the Peru, IL area. In this role, you’ll work closely with our General Manager, Sales Manager, and teammates across the company. Your focus will be on building strong customer relationships, expanding our reach, and helping customers get the right products and services to meet their needs.

• Build and follow a prospecting plan for your territory.
• Call on customers to take orders, enter them, and work with corporate to make sure products are delivered smoothly.
• Emphasize safety and proper handling with every customer interaction.
• Recommend product solutions that make sense for each customer.
• Track meetings, visits, and opportunities in Salesforce to stay organized.
• Stay up to date on new products and promotions, and share them with your customers.
• Partner with suppliers and teammates to deliver great service.
• Keep a sense of urgency and professionalism every day while representing Sapp Bros., Inc.

• Associate’s Degree or higher.
• At least 2 years of outside sales or account management experience (Petroleum, Lubricants, or Propane industry preferred).
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system, preferred.li>
• Valid driver’s license.
