**** THE ROLE
** The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for patient care and the direction of the treatment team for all cases assigned. The NP oversees daily rounding, daily treatment team, and will provide consultation as needed. The Nurse Practitioner actively participates as a leader within the organization and engages in committee meetings to provide medical guidance.

** JOB REQUIREMENTS
***** To qualify for the Nurse Practitioner position, you must have:
**** Certification as PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)
* Previous experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting desirable.
* Working knowledge of the addiction and recovery field and experience in clinical practice
* Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds
* Communication with organization or comparable entities preferred
* Valid driver’s license
* Must provide proof of insurance (as needed), complete credentialing and background checks, supply references, participate in necessary documentation and billing software audits and needed based on position type.
** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
***** As Nurse Practitioner, you will:
**** Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory agencies.
* Ensure timely rounds for all admissions, discharges, and complex patients with timely and accurate documentation to demonstrate the reason and outcome of session.
* Provide individualized care for all patients based on individual symptoms, needs and evaluation and in accordance with the agreed upon treatment    plan.
* Attend and at times lead MEC, P&T, Quality, and UR committees within the facilities.
* Attend treatment team at minimum 3 times a week, but could be daily as needed based on program and patient load needs.
* Complete billing for services and time spent on patient care daily. Bill facility and or clocks in and out daily to demonstrate time spent on other    duties outside of patient care.
