Production Leader

Role Overview

Jump Aero is seeking a hands‑on Production Lead to own and execute all aspects of production as we launch cutting‑edge aerospace products into manufacturing in 2026. The ideal candidate is organized, technically skilled, self‑directed, and excited to help build production systems from the ground up.

This role includes assembly, soldering, 3D printing, MRP planning, quality control, order fulfillment, customer support, and shipping/receiving. It is a hands‑on position in a fast‑paced startup with the opportunity to grow into a broader production leadership role as the company scales.

• Own and execute day‑to‑day production from customer order through shipment
• Perform hands‑on electromechanical assembly, PCB soldering, and 3D printing
• Implement and manage an MRP system for production planning and tracking
• Manage order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and inventory
• Ensure quality standards and production timelines are met
• Develop, document, and continuously improve production processes
• Train and support production team members as the team grows

• 2+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations
• Strong hands‑on electronics assembly, soldering and crimping skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP tools and basic manufacturing processes
• Experience with order fulfillment, customer issue resolution, and CRM tools
• Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
• Self‑directed and comfortable wearing multiple hats
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• 2+ years experience managing or leading production teams
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with 3D printing, vacuum forming, injection molding, ROS
• Comfortable with lathes, mills, CNC equipment, and G‑Code
• RC aircraft or drone build experience
• Aerospace or aviation background
• Experience with Lean manufacturing tools (Six Sigma, JIT, Kanban, FIFO)
