Position: Shimano Intermediate Accountant Needed
Become an integral part of Shimano Canada's Finance Team as an Intermediate Accountant in Peterborough, Ontario. Ensure accurate accounting functions and contribute to strategic initiatives.

The Intermediate Accountant will support day-to-day activities, processing invoices and maintaining inventory cost forecasts. You will play a key role in audit preparation and improve reporting processes through Excel. Strong analytical skills are essential for collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and analyze invoices for inventory accuracy

• Maintain forecasts for inventory landed costs

• Conduct detailed account analysis for reporting purposes

• Build Excel models for financial data representation

• Collaborate on innovative cross-functional projects

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities

• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel needed

• Actively pursuing CPA designation a plus
