Support European finance operations as an Assistant Accountant with accounts payable, reconciliations, and Excel skills across flexible United Kingdom locations.
Germains Seed Technology seeks an Assistant Accountant for its European business. You will support accurate reporting, financial controls, and stakeholder partnerships across multiple locations. The fixed-term 12-month contract suits an experienced finance professional contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Support accounts payable, receivable, cash management, and payments
- Complete daily bank reconciliations and banking administration
- Reconcile and settle intercompany balances
- Prepare VAT, tax, Intrastat, and statistical reports
- Prepare month-end reports, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Minimum Level 4 finance or administrative qualification
- At least three years’ accounting experience in private sector
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to work across locations, cultures, and teams
