Strengthen payroll controls and lead structured testing for Manulife’s hybrid Waterloo operations, using advanced Excel and root-cause analysis.

As an experienced Payroll Analyst, you will improve accurate, compliant payroll supporting approximately 13,000 employees. Your focus includes testing system, configuration, integration, and process changes while reducing errors, manual effort, risk, and rework. You will document defects and validate end-to-end results.

• Plan and lead structured payroll change testing
• Validate edge cases and end-to-end payroll results
• Document defects and confirm business requirements
• Automate, simplify, standardize, and strengthen payroll controls
• Troubleshoot system, data, and integration issues

• Five-plus years of progressive Canadian payroll experience
• Experience developing payroll test scenarios and documenting results
• Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting capabilities
• Advanced Excel and data analysis expertise
• Experience documenting requirements, risks, controls, and decisions
