What you’ll do:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Waste Management & Sustainability division, handling inquiries and ensuring efficient daily operations.
  • Customer Service: Respond to inquiries and provide accurate, timely information to residents, contractors, municipal partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate and support environmental programs and projects, including the County's Adopt-A-Road program, seasonal waste management initiatives, resident appointments, communication support, and program research.

Selection Process: The selection process is expected to take place in Late July.

  • Our non‑negotiables: Diploma or degree in Business/Office Administration, environmental field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum two years in customer service and/or administration in a municipal setting. Understanding of waste management, sustainability, and climate change is an asset.
  • Adaptable: Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
  • Detail‑Oriented: Produces high quality, accurate correspondence and documentation with minimal supervision.
