PLC Programming Specialist - Dynacast

Join Dynacast Peterborough as a PLC Programming Specialist focused on optimizing die casting technology. This full-time role involves designing electrical controls for leading-edge manufacturing processes.

In this position, you will design and implement PLC systems that are crucial for our production-related equipment and new installations. You’ll be pivotal in enhancing operational productivity, employing your strong analytical capabilities to troubleshoot and upgrade PLC-based systems. Effective communication within the maintenance team will be essential to drive project success throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance electrical control systems

• Troubleshoot and upgrade production equipment

• Generate comprehensive electrical drawing packages

• Lead testing to ensure advanced controls technology

• Provide installation and assembly support

Requirements:

• Diploma from an accredited college or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Siemens and Allan Bradley PLCs

• Ability to interpret and produce electrical drawings

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Previous experience with die casting preferred
