This temporary position offers recent graduates the chance to work under professional guidance while assisting in important analytical tasks. You will support regional staff in forest modelling, data synthesis, and analysis of natural resource impacts. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide analytical support for forest estate models
• Assemble and manipulate resource management data
• Conduct forest modelling assessments and impact analyses
• Automate data management processes through scripting
• Answer sustainability questions using relevant knowledge
Requirements:
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Recent graduate from an accredited program
• No prior OPS permanent employee status
• First-time MNR internship applicants only
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, and GIS software
