The wage for this Sterilization Assistant position is $19-$22/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.
Please note that this is a replacement job opening.
Your Role- Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation
- Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols
- Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow
- Previous clinical experience working in sterilization role is considered an asset
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting and/or Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) Programs is preferred
- Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset
