Sterilization Technician Dental

Become a key player in patient care with Peterborough Dental Clinic as a Sterilization Technician. This important role supports safety and organization in the dental environment.

In this full-time position, you will ensure all dental instruments are cleaned, packaged, and sterilized to the highest standards. Your work schedule is Monday to Friday, and you will have ample opportunity for professional development in a collaborative setting. You'll maintain detailed records, operate sterilization equipment, and partner with the clinical team to streamline patient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and package dental instruments using best practices

• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment

• Keep accurate compliance records for audits

• Maintain a clean and organized reprocessing area

• Report sterilization issues promptly as identified

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a sterilization role preferred

• Completion of Dental Assisting and/or MDRT programs

• Understanding of IPAC principles beneficial

• Legally authorized to work in Canada

• Strong dedication to patient care and teamwork
