Student Supervision Monitor

Position: Student Supervision Monitor Role
Location: Bancroft

Support student safety and achievement as a Student Supervision Monitor. Collaborate with school staff to monitor behavior and attendance while ensuring a positive learning environment.

Reporting directly to the Principal, this role involves monitoring students during various settings, including lunch periods and classrooms. You will assist in managing attendance and behavior and maintain related records while liaising with staff and administration. Serving as a key resource, this position contributes to student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and class transitions

• Monitor student behavior and communicate consequences

• Maintain attendance and behavior records accurately

• Create reports for administration to track student needs

• Refer students to appropriate support services when necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum secondary school education with relevant behavior management courses

• At least three months of experience working with adolescents

• Proficient in technology use for reporting

• Successful Vulnerable Sector Background check

• Commitment to diversity and inclusive practices
