Student Supervision Monitor in Schools

Become a vital part of student safety at Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board as a Student Supervision Monitor. Ensure appropriate student behavior and attendance while fostering a safe learning environment.

Reporting directly to the Principal, the Student Supervision Monitor collaborates with staff to enhance student attendance and achievement. This role requires monitoring students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, and cafeterias. You will help manage behavior, maintain attendance records, and support student needs through referrals and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and classes

• Monitor and manage student behavior and attendance

• Communicate and enforce school procedures

• Create reports supporting student attendance and behavior

• Collaborate with administration and support staff

Requirements:

• Completed secondary school with additional courses in behavior management

• Minimum three months experience working with adolescents

• Proficient with technology related to monitoring tasks

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Background check
