Monitor Student Safety and Attendance

Location: Bancroft

Join our team as a Student Supervision Monitor, dedicated to creating a safe and engaging learning environment. Oversee student attendance and behavior across various school settings.

This position reports directly to the Principal, ensuring that students are effectively supervised during lunch, recess, and transition times. You will play a crucial role in managing behavior, maintaining attendance records, and fostering a positive atmosphere by collaborating with staff and addressing student needs. Your contributions support their educational journey and overall welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor students in hallways, cafeterias, and classrooms

• Manage attendance and behavior records diligently

• Assist in creating reports for student success initiatives

• Collaborate with diverse school stakeholders

• Facilitate referrals to support services as needed

Requirements:

• Completed secondary school with short courses in behavior management

• Three months’ experience working with adolescents

• Proven ability to utilize technology for reporting needs

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Background check required

• Experience in inclusive environments is valued
