School Age Educator at Compass ELC

As a permanent School Age Educator, you will work alongside passionate colleagues at Compass ELC. This role requires 1-3 years of experience in child education and a passion for early learning. You’ll create engaging, interest-based activities that promote children’s development in a nurturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead play-based learning activities

• Maintain active supervision during playtime

• Document children's learning through observations

• Foster relationships with families and caregivers

• Participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• 1-3 years' experience with children

• Familiarity with Child Care Early Years Act

• Valid certifications:
Police Check, First Aid, CPR

• Good standing with College of Early Childhood Educators

• Interest in pursuing or completing Early Childhood Education diploma
