Inspire young minds as a School Age Educator at Compass Early Learning and Care in Cavan, Ontario. This role emphasizes creative play and strong family interactions in a structured setting.

Join Compass ELC’s dedicated team as a permanent School Age Educator, promoting children's curiosity and learning. With your educational background and at least 1-3 years of experience, you will guide children through engaging activities that foster their physical, emotional, and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead interest-based activities that engage children

• Supervise and interact actively during children's play

• Document learning progress through reflective practices

• Build strong relationships with families

• Attend team meetings and training opportunities

Requirements:

• 1–3 years' experience in child care or education

• Knowledge of Child Care Early Years Act

• Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check

• First Aid and CPR certification

• Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators or pursuing ECE diploma
