This 1-Year Contract position involves comprehensive mechanical design work, including drafting, modeling, and developing systems for nuclear fuel handling and medical technology. You will collaborate with a committed engineering team while adhering to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. A strong focus on detail and problem-solving is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and model designs using CAD software

• Collaborate with professional engineers on projects

• Update and create assembly and technical drawings

• Provide engineering support and attend client meetings

• Lead compliance with industry codes and standards
Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Technologist (CET) qualification

• Experience with 3D CAD software like SOLIDWORKS

• Knowledge of drafting and GD&T principles

• Strong attention to detail and independence

• Previous work in the nuclear environment is an advantage
