Your Responsibilities- Design and develop instrumentation and control systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Lead or contribute to design reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory and technical standards.
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex systems and equipment.
- Provide technical leadership on projects, including risk identification, solution development, and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to proposal development, cost estimation, and technical presentations to support business growth.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in design engineering within a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, or oil and gas.
- Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Automation Engineering, or a related field, with a valid PEO license.
- Proven experience leading or contributing to complex engineering projects across full project life cycles.
- Strong knowledge of design documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Experience with tools such as AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with systems design and testing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and present technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with CSA standards, CANDU systems, or IBM DOORS is considered an asset.
