In this role, you will utilize your skills in Crown surveying to provide expert advice and support to various program areas. Managing projects and providing technical direction will be key to ensuring effective land use and claims management. Work closely with stakeholders, including other government bodies and the public, to oversee complex legal survey matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Ministry's primary Crown Survey authority

• Represent the provincial Crown in legal negotiations

• Oversee surveys for Crown land patents and related projects

• Develop and refine policies for survey operations

• Offer technical direction to project staff

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Land Surveyor license

• Strong technical knowledge of land statutes

• Proficient in mapping and surveying technologies

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Research and analytical abilities with project evaluation
