Mid-Level Hydrotechnical Engineer

With 4–6 years of hydrotechnical engineering experience, you will conduct hydraulic analyses and numerical modeling using HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS. Located in Peterborough, Ontario;
Halifax, Nova Scotia; or Winnipeg, Manitoba, you'll engage in various projects, including floodplain mapping and dam safety assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete hydraulic analyses for water resources and infrastructure

• Perform numerical modeling using industry-standard software

• Design hydraulic structures and fish passage facilities

• Develop floodplain mapping and consequence assessments

• Collaborate with engineers and scientists on solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Professional Engineer registration or commitment to obtain

• 4–6 years of relevant hydrotechnical experience

• Proficient in HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS software

• Experience with floodplain mapping and dam safety projects
