BWXT NEC is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer for its Pressure Boundary & Analysis team. This position emphasizes designing and analyzing pressure-retaining systems for CANDU reactors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will oversee technical interfaces, manage tasks, and contribute to innovative nuclear solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems

• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and drawings

• Perform stress analysis using classical and finite element techniques

• Lead design reviews and present technical data

• Ensure compliance with nuclear codes and standards

Requirements:

• B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

• Over 3 years in design engineering, preferably in Nuclear

• Experience with 3D CAD and FEA software

• Effective communication skills for diverse audiences

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
