As a Mid-Level Hydrotechnical Engineer, you’ll have 4–6 years of experience to conduct hydraulic modeling, design hydraulic structures, and assess dam safety. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on projects ranging from floodplain mapping to stream restoration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hydrology and hydraulic analyses for various projects
• Complete numerical modeling with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS
• Support design and evaluation of hydraulic structures
• Develop floodplain maps and inundation studies
• Collaborate effectively with diverse teams on project delivery
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar field
• P.Eng. registration or commitment to obtain
• 4–6 years hydrotechnical engineering experience
• Proficiency in HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS
• Background in floodplain mapping and dam studies
