Central Smith Creamery is seeking a part-time Environmental Management Specialist to help enhance their sustainability programs. The role entails 20 hours per week dedicated to developing and maintaining the Environmental Management System while partnering with various departments. Your work will significantly impact environmental performance in the food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and organize Environmental Management System policies

• Organize waste management and employee training programs

• Track compliance for hazardous and recyclable waste

• Conduct environmental assessments and data analysis

• Review waste manifests and ensure regulatory adherence

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Environmental Science or similar

• Experience in manufacturing and compliance a plus

• Familiarity with environmental regulations

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Excel and Word applications
