This senior role in the hydro generator engineering group requires expertise in mechanical analysis, stress, heat transfer, and vibration. You will be responsible for technical documentation, drawing reviews, and engineering instructions to support project milestones. Collaborating with local and external teams, you will help advance sustainable technology in the hydroelectric sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize mechanical designs for hydro generator components
• Analyze and document mechanical components and designs
• Review and approve mechanical drawings for compliance
• Create engineering instructions for manufacturing and installation
• Collaborate on R&D projects for new generator technologies
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Familiar with MathCAD and Excel
• Strong problem-solving and judgment skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Ability to travel for project needs
