As the Government Relations Coordinator, you will provide effective strategic support to enhance operations. You will engage with diverse stakeholders, contribute to decision-making, and ensure clear communication of Council's goals.
Your role is vital in fostering productive relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational support and strategic advice to the Warden
• Manage relationships with government and external partners
• Conduct research and facilitate meeting preparations
• Ensure clarity in communication across various teams
• Support informed decision-making in a collaborative environment
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma or degree in Public Relations or Political Science
• Minimum 4 years of experience in public relations
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong writing and public speaking abilities
• Must hold a valid driver's license
Contribute to community engagement and strategic government relations at Peterborough County.
