Speech Language Pathologist

Join the dedicated team at CBI Home Health as a Speech Language Pathologist in Peterborough. You will support in-home communication and swallowing assessments while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

This part-time position focuses on delivering personalized care in a home-based setting. As an SLP within the Integrated Care Program, your role will involve developing interventions for patients recovering from acute conditions. You'll be instrumental in managing dysphagia and enhancing cognitive communication through holistic approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct swallowing assessments and related interventions

• Implement communication strategies for home care

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive support

• Utilize digital health platforms for efficient care delivery

• Focus on restorative approaches to enhance patient recovery

Requirements:

• Registration with College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario

• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance

• Experience with in-person and virtual care methods

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
