Social Worker in Oncology Care

With the option for virtual service, this role requires a dedicated professional to assist clients and families in navigating complex health challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for patients

• Develop tailored treatment and crisis management strategies

• Provide group support and educational resources

• Offer psychotherapy in accordance with professional guidelines

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams for unified patient care

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required

• Membership with OCSWSSW in good standing

• Preferred recent experience in oncology and palliative care

• Required completion of the de Souza IPODE course

• CBT certification is a plus
